Madeira Sauce Recipe
The Madeira Sauce is a classic sauce made by adding Madeira wine to a basic demi-glace. The Madeira sauce is an excellent accompaniment for roasts and steaks.Also see: The Mother Sauces

Ingredients:
- 1 pint demi-glace
- ¼ cup Madeira wine
- 1 Tbsp butter
Preparation:
- In a heavy-bottomed saucepan, heat the demi-glace to a simmer and reduce for about 5 minutes.
- Stir in the Madeira wine and swirl in the butter. Serve right away.
